By creating an account or using Reflekt, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
Reflekt is a personal journaling app with AI-powered summaries and chat. The service is provided "as is" — we work to keep it running and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. One account per person. Don't share your account or create accounts for others. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that abuse the service.
You own everything you write. Your journal entries, excerpts, and any content you create in Reflekt belong to you. We don't claim any ownership or license over your content beyond what's needed to operate the service (storing it, displaying it to you, processing it for AI features you initiate).
You can export your data at any time from Settings.
Don't use Reflekt to store or distribute illegal content, attempt to access other users' data, attack or disrupt the service, or create automated/bot accounts. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.
AI summaries and chat are powered by Anthropic's Claude API. When you use these features, your journal entries are sent to Anthropic for processing. See our Privacy Policy for details on how this data is handled. AI outputs are generated content and may not always be accurate — use your own judgment.
Reflekt is a small, independent project. We aim for reliable uptime but cannot guarantee it. The service may experience downtime for maintenance, updates, or unforeseen issues. We are not liable for any loss resulting from service interruptions.
Reflekt is provided without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any data loss, damages, or issues arising from your use of the service. We strongly recommend exporting your data regularly as a backup.
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Major changes will be communicated where possible.
